After spending the summer at Forestburgh Playhouse as withheld and wild Alice in The Addams Family, Kera returned to the city and proudly (and excitedly) joined Actor's Equity Association. She then returned to the PIT to continue developing and performing her role as Pipsy in Locked Up B*tches, Catya McMullen's send-up of Netflix's female prison drama. The sold out run completed in January.
Doing Time (in New York City)
Kera will be rolling around in the dirt with the cats and dogs of Bitchfield Animal Shelter in Catya McMullen's Locked Up B*tches at The PIT (People's Improv Theater) Striker Theater in New York City (123 E 24th Stree in Manhattan). The rap/hip hop musical, a loving parody of Netflix's women's prison drama, will be opening on Monday, April 4th at 9:30pm and will continue to run Monday nights at 9:30pm all through April. Tickets are only $5. See thepit-nyc.com for tickets and more info.
Good News from Winter Storm Jonas
While snowed in during Winter Storm Jonas, Kera was notified that she received the New Hampshire Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her work as Muriel in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. Thank you to all the folks on the team at the New London Barn for your support making this happen!
